Notice of Refund Policy for Veinco

Effective Date: June 1st, 2022

Surgery Deposits & Payments

Cancellations must be received by Veinco in writing by email or via fax.

Deposit Policy

  1. Security Deposit: All surgeries require a deposit at the time of booking the procedure. ($600 USD additional to CC service charge or WT charge).
  2. Remaining Balance Deposit: Patients are required to have as zero balance fifteen (15) days prior to traveling to Mexico.

Security Deposit & Remaining Balance Deposit Policy

  1. If you cancel your procedure(s), for any reason whatsoever, and such cancellation occurs over sixty days (60) days before your original scheduled surgery date, then you would be entitled to a refund of fifty percent (50%) of your secure deposit and the one hundred percent (100%) of your remaining balance deposit if any.
  2. If you cancel your procedure(s), for any reason whatsoever, and such cancellation occurs from thirty-one (31) to fifty-nine (59) days before your original scheduled surgery date, then you will be entitled to a refund of twenty five percent (25%) of your secure deposit and one hundred percent (100%) of your remaining balance deposit if any.
  3. If you cancel your procedure(s), for any reason whatsoever, and such cancellation occurs from sixteen (16) to thirty (30) before your original scheduled surgery date, then you would be entitled to a refund of fifty percent (50%) of your remaining balance deposit, but the total amount of your secure deposit will be forfeited.
  4. If you cancel your procedure(s), for any reason whatsoever, and such cancellation occurs less than fifteen days (15) days before your original scheduled surgery date, then the full amount of your remaining balance deposit and the full amount of your secure deposit will be forfeited.

Reschedule Deposit Policy

  1. If the patient needs to reschedule the procedure five (5) to thirty (30) days prior to the original scheduled surgery date, then the full security deposit and remaining balance deposit will be applied to the new scheduled surgery date.
  2. If the patient reschedules the procedure more than two times of your original scheduled surgery date, then the full amount of the secure deposit will be forfeited.
  3. If the patient decides to cancel the procedure after it has been rescheduled one-two times, then the cancellation will be governed by our security deposit and remaining balance deposit policy.

Refunds Of Cancellation Policy

Due to the preparation costs, (i.e., hotel reservations, booking time and hospital room, scheduling transportation, scheduling of hospital staff, supplies ordered based on surgery schedule, etc.), all refunds will be handled based on the following criteria:

  1. When you arrive to the hospital, if your surgeon decides for your health and safety, not to attempt or complete your surgery, this will result in the loss of the entire amount of your security deposit, the remaining balance deposit will be used to cover incurred expenses such as, but not limited to, medical fees, hospital fees, pre-op or any additional test(s) fees, nutritional fees ($150.00 USD), transportation fees, hotel accommodations fees, processing fees ($25.00 USD), etc., as a result of the cancellation. If there is any balance in favor, it will be refunded to the patient. If the total expenses exceed the remaining balance deposit amount, the patient will be sole responsible to pay for the exceeded expenses amount before leaving the hospital.
  2. If surgery is canceled because the patient failed to follow the pre-operative instructions given by the medical staff this will result in the loss of the entire amount of the security deposit and remaining balance deposit.
  3. If surgery is rescheduled, all cancellation rules and policies apply to the original scheduled date.
  4. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for processing refunds.
  5. In the event that collections are necessary, the cost/fees incurred by Tijuana Bariatrics will be applied to your balance owed.
  6. I understand I am responsible for any fees my credit card provider may charge for card usage outside the U.S.

Death / Serious Illness

Any cancellation that is the result of a death or serious illness will be handled on case-by-case basis.

Credit & Debit Card Policy

All credit card and debit card processing fees charged are non-refundable at any time. All WT fees are non-refundable at any time.
